How We Vet Siding Pros in Vancouver, WA
Before a siding company in Clark County receives a single request from this site, we check three things: that it holds the registration Washington and the city require, that the paperwork behind that registration is current, and, in a conversation with the owner, whether we want to recommend it to homeowners at all.

Which registrations does a siding pro need before joining?
Two: an active Washington L&I contractor registration and the business license of the city it works in. We look the company up on L&I's Verify tool under its exact registered name, and we check that Vancouver's business license endorsement, or the license Battle Ground or Ridgefield asks for, is in place. A company missing either one doesn't receive requests.
What paperwork do we check?
The bond and liability insurance that Washington registration depends on. For a specialty contractor the state asks for a $15,000 bond and $200,000 public liability plus $50,000 property damage insurance, or $250,000 combined single limit; a general contractor's bond is $30,000. We check that both show as current on the Verify record, the same place you can see them.
Why do we interview every siding pro?
Because paperwork says a company is allowed to work, not whether we want to send you to it. Before a Clark County siding company joins, we interview the owner, and we only add companies we are comfortable recommending. The interview is our judgment, not a rating or a guarantee.
What does this mean for you as a homeowner?
